We have 2 favorite camping sites as a family in the NW suburbs of Chicago. The first is Devils Lake in Wisconsin. The second is Starved Rock State Park in Utica, Illinois.
They both have plenty of camping sites to choose from, great views, fishing, awesome hiking trails and offer non-stop family fun.
